What an an amazing world we live in, full of so many different types of peoples, personalities, characteristics and beliefs.  The fact that we all populate this blue, spinning planet at once is incredible in itself.  

I love meeting new people and appreciate how we can forgo our differences to achieve better.

While I strive to work with couples whose values and interests are similar to mine, that does not mean I do not respect opposing beliefs.  I just find when the craziness of the day hits, having someone at your side who feels as you do, makes it go so much more smoothly.

So who am I and who are my people?

I am a hugger, a giver and tear up at each and every wedding.  Seriously, I do!  Although, the Daddy Daughter dances tend to tug at my heart strings the most.  Heck, I even cry over those sappy Hallmark commercials every holiday.  Trust me, my kids still make fun of me over this.

My style of working with couples is relaxed, positive, and approachable.  I always take a few moments to explain what I am doing, or how to tweak a pose correctly.  Asking and explanations resonate better than just barking out orders or commands. Right?  Trust me, I have been on the other side of the camera many times and truthfully it is uncomfortable.  I mean how do you know if you are doing something correctly or if it looks weird if you are not told.  So yes, I praise as I go and will probably tell you that you are doing amazing 50 times.  The more I educate my couples, the better the overall experience.  So I will ask lots of questions, instruct as I go and most important, we will have fun.








 










 

Let's Be Friends

I am a Scorpio through and through.

My biggest vice is Cherry Coke-no ice.

I love California Rolls but dislike Sushi.

 I am an empty nester and struggling with it after years of running to scout meetings, band practices, dance, hockey, football-you name it.  My kids are still my World and I miss hugging them every day now that they are grown. 
Like that Kenny Chesney song says, "Don't Blink".

My favorite color is aquamarine blue.

I adore silver and dislike gold.

I have a dairy allergy so that means no pizza or mac n cheese.  Boo.

History is my jam and I am addicted to all those cheesy historical biographies and shows.  I love Outlander-whew, Sam Heughan-both for its historical representation and of course, the magical love story.

I have saved every card or letter ever given to me.  They are all in a drawer and yes, I reread them. Seeing the handwriting of my parents whom have both passed is special.  And all the adorable Mother's Day cards the kids have made through the years is like watching life on rewind.

I love camping.  Not RV camping. True tent camping, where you are out in nature.  Although there have been a few times I could have traded up for a night at The Ritz.  Cold.  Rain.  Brrrrrrr.

I am deathly afraid of heights and will NOT get on a Ferris Wheel.  Nope.
I will climb a ladder no issues though which is very strange.

I believe hearing I love you is the sweetest thing next to a deep, true hug. 
 One where, when you let go, you still feel it.  My Dad called them "Bone Crushers".

I love to binge Netflix while editing and am currently on the third season of Discovery of Witches.  Loving it so far for its historical portrayal along with the fun vampire - witch love story plot.  My second favorite currently is The Peripheral.

Yep, I am a real blonde.  And as I age I love it, cause it hides the grays!

My favorite flowers are Lilacs although I am highly allergic to them. Go figure!

I lived on a working farm with cattle, hogs, chickens and more!

I coached Varsity Cheer and no.  I can no longer do a back handspring.

I have to be so planned out for my job, In my  personal life I love spontaneity.

 to go out to eat or somewhere
fancy to saying, nah, and hanging all night on the couch. 
 I dislike rigidity and crave the flexible free-spirit.
